Book release of 'The Day She Cradled Me' by Sacha de Bazin

On the 15th of March 2012 Room 9 and 10 went to Winton Public Library to the release of 'The Day She Cradled Me' by Sacha De Bazin.
Drummond and Saint Thomas were there to.We listened to Sacha talk about her book about Minnie Dean. Minnie Dean was the only lady in New Zealand to be hung for murder. Minnie Dean supposedly killed 3 babies but many more went 'missing'. Minnie Dean was hung in the car park of Smith City but back then it wasn't Smith City it was a train station. Minnie Dean's famous last words 'I have nothing to say only that I'm innocent'
Sacha didn't intend to be an author. She saw an interesting programme on TV and decided to find out more. 5 years on, Sacha wrote her book 'The Day She Cradled Me'. We had many interesting questions to ask Sacha about her book. We found out she is writing another book but we don't know what it's about.
Sacha's website is www.sachadebazin.com so have a look and read the book it sounds great. Happy reading :)
