Alone on a wide wide sea is a book about a boy called Arthur Hobhouse who gets moved to Australia from England. Arthur and his friend Marty run away from their guardian to a lady called auntie Meg who looks after them for 7 years. When they move away to Sydney there will does Marty's world go down hill.


In the second part of the book Marty's daughter Allie sails on Kitty Four back to England to find Arthur's long lost sister Kitty Hobhouse but will Allie get to England in one piece. On her solo trip half way found the world. Find out in Alone on a Wide Wide Sea.
