Thank you for your fantastic effort and attitude last week with Mrs Henderson. I am very impressed that you displayed the Winton School values in all areas of your learning.
Activity 1: Reading
- You are expected to read for at least 10 mins each night.
- Record your nightly reading in the back of your book.
- Remember to read a variety of genre (novels, newspapers, newsletters, internet articles etc)
Activity 2: Spelling
- Practice your spelling words each night for success.
- Do this for each of your spelling words: Copy the word - Read - Cover - Spell - Check if correct.
Activity 3: Computer Capers competition
See the attached information for the competition:
Use the planning sheet to plan your Keynote/Powerpoint presentation.
You will need to research your chosen person and decide what important information you will use (no more than 6 slides)
Include: text, images, web links that you will include in your presentation.
Your plan must be neat, legible, tidy and coloured.
The BEST planned presentations will be chosen to be entered in the competition. These will be done during class time next week.
