Term 2 Week 4
- Best of luck for Cross Country on Wednesday. I am sure all of your hard training will pay off! 
- Well done on the impressive CV's written. Some people put a lot of detail and though into their CV and produced a document they can be proud of.
- I am away in Auckland at an Apple computer conference next week, so Mrs Henderson will be teaching Monday - Thursday and Mrs Collett will be in class on Friday. I know your behavior and attitude will be fantastic! 

Activity 1: Reading
- You are expected to read for at least 10 mins each night.
- Record your nightly reading in the back of your book.
- Remember to read a variety of genre (novels, newspapers, newsletters, internet articles etc)

Activity 2: Spelling
- Practice your spelling words each night for success.
- Do this for each of your spelling words: Copy the word - Read - Cover - Spell - Check if correct. 


Activity 3: Dragon Maths
Book 4 page 85 - 'Investigating Solids'
Book 5 page 84 - 'Solids' (Some of this may be difficult, do what you can)



Activity 4: BBC Bitesize Maths
Click the link under 'Helpful Websites' - BBC Bitesize.
Go to Maths - Shape, Space and Measures
Do the Read, Quiz and Play sections for 2D Shapes and 3D Shapes.
Record your quiz scores for both sections.
