This is Miss Brown with her writing group. In room 10 Right now we are studying poetry and in reading we have got some activities for poetry. We have now learnt in poetry you can have:similes, personification, metaphors and onomatopoeia's. Miss Brown told us that you can be creative and it doesn't have to make sense and that it doesn't have to rhyme.

Are you there, god? It's me Margaret
                          By Judy Blume

This book is about a little girl called Margaret. Her family has to move away because her dad got a job in New Jersey.Margaret can't wait to grow up her friends promised her they would tell her everything. She thinks that somethings are to embarrassing to talk about like having a crush on Moose Freed. I would rate this book a 5-5 because it is very interesting and funny. I would say girls would read this book and ages 11 and up cause it has a wee bit about growing up in it.

Blaze and the Dark Rider

Blaze and the Dark Rider By Stacy Greeg
" Issie she needs you" Avery says. This book is about Issie Brown and her new horse Blaze. When Issie finds out that Blaze is a famous horse she gets attached even more than she was to her horse. Late one night Issie goes to make sure Blaze is okay when she sees and shadow heading into the tack room! Issie follows the shadow into the tack room, she finds poison in her horse feed! She must find out who it is before they take her horse! But how?

Read Blaze and the Dark rider to find out! I rate this book a four, it is probably for age 9 and up or for any one totally horse MAD!

Beautiful Southland

If you ever take a moment to just sit and sigh you would notice Southlands beautiful morning sky. In Southland we are lucky enough to have amazing views of the takitimus the purple and red clouds and the astonishing rainbows. Here is a picture of some beautiful clouds hovering above the green hills full of fresh grass.

So remember if you're ever feeling down just look up at the morning sky and sigh.
